Daniel is a high school administrator in Newport Beach, California. Born and raised in Point Reyes Station, CA, Daniel graduated from Tomales High School in Tomales, CA. He attended Willamette University in Salem, OR, earning a BA in Rhetoric and Media Studies and a Master’s Degree in Education. Finally, he received his Administrative credential from UC Irvine, in Irvine CA. Prior to school administration, Daniel spent 10 years in the classroom where he taught English, coached varsity tennis and was an ASB director. In his current position, Daniel focuses on utilizing a proactive and hands-on approach to leadership. He seeks to upend traditional modes of communication and interventions to find lasting solutions for students and families. Daniel integrates a strong social media presence and writing with his sense of humor to offset the high pace and high stress aspects of his job, while building tangible and lasting relationships with the greater school community. Daniel lives in Orange County with his wife and their two young daughters.
